About the Author
Vanessa Goolsby is a senior vice president on the Go-To-Market Operations team at PSG Equity, where she serves as a GTM Operating Partner and sponsors the firm’s Portfolio Marketing Leader Community. In her role, Vanessa supports sales, marketing, and customer success leaders across PSG’s portfolio of B2B SaaS companies—driving strategic alignment, predictable pipeline growth, and value creation across the first 100 days and beyond.
A former multi-tour operator, Vanessa has held leadership roles as a GM, Head of Product, and VP of Marketing at companies including Financial Times, Travelocity, STA Travel, and others. Notably, she served as Head of Product for Travelocity’s $19M RateFinder marketplace, leading to a successful exit to Expedia.
She transitioned into advisory in 2016 as VP at Camelot Strategic Marketing & Media, where she led demand generation strategy for Intuit QuickBooks’ B2B division, and later joined Vista Consulting Group in 2019, completing over 25 engagements across Vista’s software portfolio as a marketing-focused Operating Partner. Vanessa joined PSG in 2021, and has since executed over 60 GTM engagements across the portfolio.
